Mathys Tel is currently playing for Tottenham on loan, and the London club would like to keep him on the team for the future, but there’s one snag.
Details: According to insider Florian Plettenberg, Spurs are pleased with Mathys Tel’s performances and want to make his transfer permanent. However, the club intends to renegotiate the terms with Bayern, as Tottenham is not ready to pay the 50–55 million euros stipulated in the contract.
Mathys Tel has no future at Bayern Munich under Vincent Kompany, so the record champions are keen on selling the player.
Notably, representatives from five top English clubs have held preliminary talks with the young Spanish international. These clubs include Arsenal, Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham.
Reminder: Postecoglou previously stated that there is a leak of information happening at Tottenham, which certainly doesn’t help improve the team’s results.
