The legendary former footballer Roy Keane refused to listen to the arguments of Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes after yet another defeat.
Let’s recall that today the “Red Devils” suffered a humiliating 1-4 defeat to Newcastle United and have almost lost their chances of qualifying for European competitions next season through the Premier League.
After the match, Bruno Fernandes stated that it’s easy to criticize them and believes that Man United is much better than their current results show.
Roy Keane disagreed with this opinion, claiming that the “Devils” players are bluffing.
“There’s no meaning to it. I don’t know how we can listen to the United players’ interviews anymore because I’m not sure if they’re an honest group,” said Roy Keane on Sky Sports. “He keeps talking about having belief in his team-mates, but real good team-mates put demands on each other. These aren’t team-mates, they are bluffers.
When I listen to Bruno, amazing player, I still have question marks about his leadership. He’s certainly not getting any help around him.
I think United now are physically and mentally a weak team. Ruben Amorim is scratching his head. I bet he cannot believe how bad this Man United team is.,” concluded the expert.
Let’s remember that on Thursday Man United faces the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Lyon. The first game ended in a 2-2 draw.
