We recently reported that the Football Association has suspended the case review of West Ham midfielder Lucas Paquetá. It is now known when a verdict can be expected.
Details: According to Football Insider, the case was suspended not due to a large amount of evidence, as previously reported, but because of the commitments of the lawyers. At the same time, the evidence available to the investigation suggests that the Brazilian will be found not guilty and all charges will be dropped.
Reminder: The investigation alleges that Paquetá intentionally received yellow cards in matches against Leicester, Aston Villa, Leeds, and Bournemouth starting from November 2022.
Additionally, the midfielder is accused of two instances of failing to comply with investigation requirements. If found guilty, he faces a lifetime ban from football.
