Ceballos returns: Real to regain key player for Arsenal clash

Real Madrid is gearing up for a pivotal Champions League match against Arsenal, and the team has received promising news regarding their injured players. In the last 24 hours, positive updates have emerged that could enhance the club’s chances of advancing to the next stage of the tournament.

The season has been challenging for Real due to injuries, but as the end approaches, the situation is starting to stabilize. Nevertheless, the team still cannot count on Éder Militão, Dani Carvajal, and Ferland Mendy, as well as Dani Ceballos, who was sidelined with a hamstring injury at the end of February.

Ceballos sustained the injury in a match against Real Sociedad and was forced to miss two months. This meant he would definitely not play in the first match against Arsenal, but according to Marca, he is expected to return to action next week at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The midfielder has accelerated his recovery process to have a chance to return for the Arsenal game. Although he is unlikely to start the match, the possibility of coming on as a substitute, if needed, will be good news for Carlo Ancelotti.

Before Ceballos became a key player at the beginning of 2025, Real had issues in the midfield, so his return is crucial for the team. It will also allow him to be ready for the Copa del Rey against Barcelona, which will take place at the end of April.
